What is Consumption?

Consumption: Consumption is not only concerned with the usage of tangible goods such as food, clothes, etc. but also the satisfaction derived from services rendered e.g. listening to music, enjoying an artiste performing on stage, etc.

What is Choice?

Choice: Choice making is making a selection from different alternatives. Choice making can be difficult, as it involves decision making on what to take and what to forego.

The optimal choice for a person, therefore, is to be able to choose from within the options available to that person, so as to maximize the money that person has at hand.
