In order to be successful in our business place, it is important to know how to set business goals. The steps below are useful guidelines that can be utilised when setting business goals.

1. Goals should be Quantifiable:

When setting business goals, it must be made quantifiable for ease of measurement. We must determine exactly what the organization wants to accomplish in quantifiable measures. The organisation should set a clear goal, that is, the business should know exactly where it is going and should not waiver from the target regardless of failures along the way. 

The goals should be quantifiable as much as possible to enable the business to know when it has reached the set goals. For example, a Cement Company can have a goal of producing 100,000 bags of cement per week.
