Paul’s Trial Before Felix (Acts 24: 10-27):
The high priest Ananias went down to Caesarea with some of the elders and a lawyer named Tertullus, and they presented their charges against Paul to the governor, Felix. The lawyer was the first to address the governor, he said Paul was a troublemaker and had stirred up riots amongst Jews all over the world. The lawyer claimed Paul was a ringleader of the Nazarene sect and they apprehended him when he tried to desecrate the temple.
