Paul’s Persecution of the Early Church (Acts 7: 57-58, 8: 1-3, 9: 1-3):
On completion of his studies in Jerusalem, Paul returned to Tarsus and worked in the family business of tent making. After some years of working in the family business, Paul returned to Jerusalem. At this time the news of Jesus’s resurrection and the wonderful work of the Holy Spirit was spreading throughout Jerusalem and many Jews had joined the Church.
