What is Election?
Election originates from the Latin verb ‘eligere’, which means “to pick out” or “to choose”, therefore election can be defined as the process of picking out one’s preferred candidate.
It can also be defined as a decision-making process by which the electorateall the people in a country or area who are entitled to vote in an election. More chooses an individual to hold public office.
