When you discover that your computer is infected with a computer virus. You have to do the following:

  • Please do not use the computer until the virus is cleared.
  • Gather together all the removable disks you have used recently, and do not allow anyone else to use them, until you have cleaned them with an anti-virus.
  • Paste a warning notice on the system and the removable disks.
  • In fact, if you have money, buy a separate system for testing any flash disk which you receive.
  • If your PC is behaving strangely, take note of the date, and details of the time it takes a program to be loaded. This may be very useful information to your system engineer.
  • Any time you receive an infected flash disk, please notify the person who sent it to you.
