What are Vowel Sounds?

These are sounds that are produced with no obstruction to the airflow in the mouth region. Vowel sounds are divided into monophthongs and diphthongs.

It may be long or short but the quality is unchanging. Vowels are sound symbols that can be represented by different letters.
