“Willingness” – is a way of doing something or being ready to do something without being persuaded.
“Unwillingness” – made to do something that you do not want to do.
Modal Auxiliary Verbs:
This set of verbs is used for the response. Besides, they always function as auxiliary verbs or helping verbs.
Examples are can/could, may/might, will/would, shall/should, need/need not, dare/dare not, ought to, had to
Modal Verbs do not have “ing” or end in “ed” forms.
Modal verbs can be used to express the following:
a. Permission
b. Possibility
c. Capacity
d. Ability
e. Futurity
f. Obligation
g. Condition
Willingness/unwillingness can be expressed with modal verb + adverbial.
