What is interjection?

An interjection is a word used to express sudden emotion. This feeling could be that of excitement, surprise, happiness, anger or joy. They are usually followed by an exclamation mark (!). They don’t have a grammatical relationship with other words in the sentence.

Interjection is also known as Exclamation.
