- Definition of Consumer
Who is a Consumer:
A consumer is a person who buys goods (things we can see and touch, such as food, clothes, or books) or services (activities people perform for us, like teaching, driving, or hairdressing) for his or her own use.
The consumer is the last person in the chain of production. This means that after producers or manufacturers make goods and services, and retailers or wholesalers sell them, the consumer is the one who finally buys and uses them.
