- Converting Numbers in Base 10 to Other Bases
To convert from denary (i.e. base 10) to another base:
a. Divide the given denary repeatedly by the new base number.
b. Continue dividing until zero is obtained, writing down the reminder at every stage.
c. The answer is the Remainder (R) read upon wards (i.e. from bottom to top).
