It is simple to calculate the principal the time and the rate using the simple interest formula
I = \( \frac{PRT}{100} \) …………(i)
Multiply both sides by 100
PTR = 100I ……..(ii)
Divide both sides of (ii) by TR
\( \frac{PTR}{TR} = \frac{100I}{TR} \)P = \( \frac{100I}{TR} \) formula for finding Principal
Divide both sides by PR in eq (ii)
\( \frac{PTR}{PR} = \frac{100I}{PR} \)T = \( \frac{100I}{PR} \) formula for finding Time
