Below are the benefits of physical fitness:

1. Physical fitness Improves stamina, strength and energy.

2. It enables the body to control obesity.

3. It makes for better health: It helps in the proper functioning of organs and systems of the body.

4. It makes a person happier and smarter.

5. It makes for a more positive attitude and mood.

6. It helps the body to resist diseases.

7. It helps to be agile and prevent accidents.

8. It is a measure against ageing and disease.

9. It builds self-esteem and Improves body image.

10. It enhances the aesthetic value of the body, it makes the body look good and feel good.

11. It lifts depression: Research suggests that burning calories through sustained sweat-induced activity can reduce symptoms of depression.

12. It improves learning: Exercise increases the level of brain chemicals called growth factors which helps to make new brain cells and establish new connections between brain cells to enable us to learn. Again, complicated activities provide the biggest brain boost.
