Boxing is also called pugilism . It is a combat sport in which two individuals fight by throwing punches at each other while wearing padded gloves.
The aim is to knock out the opponent or make them unable to stand until the referee counts from one to ten.
Each contestant tries to avoid the opponent’s punches
