Prevention of Drug Trafficking
To curb the activities of drug trafficking the following methods can be adopted:
1. Legislation: Strict laws should be enforced to rid society of illegal drugs and drug traffickers and to serve as a deterrent to others.
2. Public Enlightenment: The need to sensitize the members of society through the use of radio, television, and social media against the activities of drug trafficking.
3. Staff Remuneration: Employees of the anti-drug trafficking agencies should be well paid and remunerated to discourage them from being enticed by the traffickers who are willing to bribe to get their way.
4. International Co-operations: Nations should co-operate and work together in order to find ways and modalities to checkmate the activities of drug trafficking.
