Characteristics of Tropical Rainforests:

2. High relative humidity throughout the year.
3. Tropical rain forest is dense and made up of many types of trees which are mostly evergreen.
4. The trees are tall with buttress roots.
5. Tropical Rain forests are dominated by trees and shrubs which form canopy/strata.
6. The trees prevent sunlight from reaching the forest floor, thus the vegetation on the forest floor is sparse.
7. The average temperature is around 27°C.
