This biome is found in the temperate regions of Asia, Europe and North America. 

Temperate Deciduous Forests
Temperate Deciduous Forests go through Four Seasons.

Characteristics of Temperate Deciduous Forests:

1. There are four seasons, summer, winter, autumn and spring each lasting about three months.

2. Temperature variation throughout the year is considerable. Summer is hot, winter is cold, autumn is cold, and spring is warm.

3.  Trees have broad leaves which shed their leaves in autumn/fall.

4. Common trees found in the biome include oak, maple, walnut, elm, and birches.

5. Animals like deer, raccoon, red fox, reptiles and insects abound.
