- Terrestrial Habitat
Terrestrial habitat refers to habitat that is predominantly on land.
Terrestrial habitats are spread out across a large range of environments such as marshes, deserts, rainforests, grasslands, shorelines etc.
Semi-natural or man-made habitats such as national parks or biosphere reserves also constitute terrestrial habitats.
The terrestrial habitat is divided into four groups. These are:
- Marsh
- Rainforest
- Savannah or Grassland
- Arid land
