General Gas Equation can be derived from the combination of Boyle’s and Charles law.
Boyle’s Law – \( \scriptsize P_1V_1 = P_2V_2 \) …………(i)
Charles Law – \( \frac{V_1}{T_1}= \frac{V_2}{T_2} \) ……….(ii)
Boyle’s law:
Keeping the temperature constant and replacing V2 with Vx
P1V1 = P2V2
Vx = \( \frac{P_1 V_1}{P_2} \)
