Topic Content:
- Laboratory Preparation of Carbon (IV) Oxide
- Preparation of Carbon (IV) Oxide
- Kipp’s Apparatus for Preparing CO2
Carbon (IV) Oxide occurs naturally in the atmosphere, constituting 0.03% of air composition. It is also found in water in its dissolved form. In the combined form, carbon (IV) oxide is found in limestone regions and coral reefs as metallic trioxocarbonates(IV) and hydrogentrioxocarbonates(IV).

It is an important material for food production in plants, in the presence of light and chlorophyll pigment.
