1.  State five different types of mineral resources and their locations in Nigeria.

Answer:

i. Coal: It is found in Enugu and Benue State.

ii. Iron ore: It is found in the Itakpe (Kogi-State) and Aladja (Delta State), Cross River.

iii. Tin and Columbite: Found in Jos (Plateau State), Kogi, Kano, Nasarawa, Kaduna, and Bauchi states.

iv. Limestone: Found in Ewekoro in Shagamu (Ogun –State), Ukpila (Edo State) Calabar, Nkalagu, Enugu.

v. Lead and Zinc: Found in Abakaliki (Ebonyi State), Bauchi, Abia, Enugu.
