Erosional Plains:
Erosional Plains are formed from the continuous erosion of various types of upland. The surface of erosional plains is hardly smooth.
Agents of denudation such as rivers, wind, rain, glaciers and ocean waves erode or wear out the surface of rocks and other elevated landforms smoothening them to form Erosional Plains.
Erosional Plains formed through the denudation of running water such as stream erosion are known as Peneplains. The Erosional Plains formed as water and wind slowly erode and disintegrate rock surfaces which reduces the mountain ranges to relatively flat surfaces of bedrock which slope gently outward and join together to form one large plain, these plains are known as Pediplains.
