A vacuumA vacuum is an area of space containing little or no matter (solids, liquids, and gases). It is a space with nothing in it, not even air. More flask is an insulating vessel that lengthens the time over which its content remains hotter or colder than the flask surroundings. It is designed to reduce heat loss by conduction, convection and radiation.
