There are two classes of solids, namely;

1. Crystalline and
2. Non-crystalline or amorphous solid.

What distinguishes the two classes is the arrangement of the atoms or molecules in the solids.

In this lesson, we will be describing the structure of crystals with examples and highlighting the differences between crystalline and non-crystalline substances.
