- Electrical Work Done in a Given Circuit
In an electric circuit, work is done when electricity flows from a point of higher potential to a point of lower potential.
The work done, W, in moving a charge from one point to another when a potential difference p.d in volts is applied is
W = QV ………… (1)
but Q = IT
W = IVT ………….. (2)
Where I = current in Amperes
t = seconds (time)
