Land pollution is the dumping of rubbish and chemicals on land by man, which makes the land infertile and causes harm to both plants and animals.

Pollutants and Sources of Land Pollution:

1. Refuse: The refuse dump in industries, markets, offices, institutions, and homes.

2. Poisonous chemicals: Poisonous chemicals from factories and laboratories. Bottles, glasses, and plastics are from breweries, hostels, and plastic manufacturing industries.

3. Sewage: Sewage disposal like faeces, and urine from humans, offices, schools, and factories.
