Advantages of Hard Water:

1. Hard water tastes better than soft water because of the dissolved minerals in it.

2. The calcium salts present in hard water are used in the formation of shells, building up strong teeth and bones by some water animals like fish and crabs. 

3. It is suitable for use in the beer brewing industry, because of its characteristics and taste.
