  • Displacement Reaction

Chlorine displaces bromine from its salts and bromine displaces Iodine from its salts.  The least reactive is Iodine which cannot displace chlorine or bromine from its salts. Reactivity among the halogens is in the order: 

F2 > Cl2 > Br2 > I2
