When we study the elements of climate, the main ones are temperature , precipitation (rainfall) , air pressure , and winds . These are the most important because they greatly affect the climate and weather of any place. The way these elements are spread out — whether horizontally (from the equator to the poles) or vertically (from the ground up into the atmosphere) — is influenced by certain factors of climate , which include:

1. Latitude:

The Sun is the main source of energy for the entire universe, and it is located at the centre of the solar system .

On Earth, imaginary lines of latitude influence the climate of different places because they determine how much solar energy a location receives.

The Earth is spherical in shape, bulging at the equator and tapering towards the poles. This shape affects the distance between different latitudes and the Sun. Areas around the Equator (0° latitude) receive the highest amount of solar energy because the Sun is almost directly overhead at
