Greek System of Climate Classification:
The Greek system of climate classification is one of the earliest and simplest methods for classifying climates. It was created by the ancient Greeks, who used latitude and temperature to divide the Earth into climatic zones. This system was first developed by scholars such as Aristotle , who recognised three main climatic belts:
- Torrid Zone (Hot)
- Temperate Zone (Mild)
- Frigid Zone (Very Cold)
