PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
By the end of this topic, the student should be able to:
i. Round off numbers to the nearest tenth, hundredth and thousandth
ii. Apply the concepts of rounding up and rounding down (rounding off) in whole or decimal numbers and fractions.
iii. Solve problems involving decimal places and significant figures
iv. Determine the accuracy of measured quantities in terms of their lower and upper bounds
v. Calculate the percentage error of measured quantities.
