- Clinical Thermometer
This is a form of mercury-in-glass thermometer. It uses the expansion or contraction of mercury in a narrow tube to measure the maximum temperature of a man’s body. It has a short temperature range between 35°C to 43°C with an accuracy of 0.1°C. A healthy person has a temperature of about 37°C and someone with a high fever can have a temperature of about 41°C.
