Topic Content:

  • Cloud
  • Humidity
  • Hygrometer
  • Dew Point
  • Mist
  • Fog

Cloud:

This is a mass of small water droplets (condensed water vapour) which float in the air. Cloud is higher up in the atmosphere than mist which is close to the ground.

Humidity:

During exercise, we sweat to maintain a stable temperature and when the sweat evaporates, the body feels cool. When the surrounding air is dry, the sweat dries faster and when air is damp and contains plenty of water vapour, the evaporation is low, hence the air is humid.
