Colours generally are divided into two namely primary colours and secondary colours.

Primary colours are colours that can be mixed together to form other colours. They are red, blue and green. These colours cannot be obtained by mixing other colours together.

Secondary colours are colours obtained by mixing two primary colours together. They are yellow, magenta, and cyan.

Additive Colour Mixing:

The addition of two primary colours produces a new colour called secondary colour. From the diagram, they are yellow, magenta and cyan.
