Noise and Music:
Noise is an unwanted sound because it is unpleasant to the ear. It is produced by the sound of irregular frequency.
Music is a sound of regular frequency and pleasant to the ear.
Tone and Note:
Tone: A pure sound of a single frequency is called tone.
Note: An impure sound produced by a mixture of many frequencies is called a note. For example, A musical note has tones of various frequencies.
Tones of higher frequencies other than fundamental frequencyThe fundamental frequency, f0, often referred to simply as the fundamental, is defined as the lowest frequency of a periodic waveform, producing its simplest and most basic sound. More are known as overtones.
