Butterfly laying eggs

Housefly:

The male and female housefly mate. The eggs of the housefly are laid in five to six batches of about 100 eggs each two or three days after fertilization. The eggs are deposited in decaying organic matter such as animal faeces. Each egg is long and white in colour.
