The Action Group (AG) was a Nigerian nationalist political party established in Ibadan on 21st March 1951.
Action Group (AG) evolved from a cultural group named Egbe Omo Oduduwa. It was a cultural organization for the Yoruba elite formed in London in 1945. The aim was to protect the interest of the Yorubas and ensure their future generations had a secure place in Nigeria. Egbe Omo Oduduwa was launched in Ile-Ife, Nigeria in 1948.
