Neutral Point

This is a point at which the resultant magnetic flux density is zero.

Magnetic Flux Density

This is the ratio of the magnetic field lines or flux φ to the cross sectional area (A)

Magnetic flux density φ = \( \frac{Magnetic \; flux}{area} \scriptsize = (r) \)

The unit of magnetic flux density is weber (Wb)

Magnetic Potential

This is a measure of the workdone in moving a north pole from infinity to that point under consideration.
