- Magnetic Properties of Iron & Steel
- Iron is more easily magnetized than steel and also loses its magnetism more easily than steel.
- When subjected to the same magnetic force, iron produces a stronger magnet than steel.
- Steels are used for permanent magnets while irons are used as temporary magnets and they form the core of electromagnets
