Performance Objectives

By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:

  • Explain peak and r.m.s value of current and p.d in a.c circuit
  • Define and explain impedance and reactance
  • Establish phase relationship between current and p.d in a.c circuit 
  • Determine current in circuit containing: (i) Resistance & inductance (ii) Resistance & capacitance (iii) Resistance, inductance & capacitance
