Step1: Multiply x² by 10=10x²

Step2: Look for the factors of 10x² that will give the middle variable which is 7x

Step 3: The factors are +2x and +5x

Step4: Replace the factors for 7x e.g.

X²+2x+5x+10

Step5: Factorize by grouping e.g.

X(x+2) +5(x+2)

Note: If these two brackets don’t give you the middle number, know that you did something wrong.

Step 6: Carry one bracket and carry the outside numbers e.g.
