cross multiply both side

4x -12 = 9x + 18
collect like terms
4x -9x = 18+12
-5x = 30
x = -30
$$x=\frac{-30}{5}$$

(c) Simple interest $$\frac{Principal x Time x Rate}{100}$$
$$\frac{60000 x 3 x 5}{100}$$
=  600 x 15
= N9000

(a) Area of rhombus

cross multiply

DE x 3 =  2x 5

DE x 3 = 10

Divide both side by 3

$$\frac{DE}{3}=\frac{10}{3}$$

DE = $$\frac{31}{3}$$

DE = 3.33cm
