density

Density is the measurement of how tightly a material is packed together i.e. how closely the particles are packed in the material. The tighter the material is packed the more its density.

It is defined as the mass per unit volume.

Density Symbol: ρ

Density Formula: \( \scriptsize \rho = \normalsize \frac{m}{v} \)

where ρ is the density, m is the mass of the object and V is the volume of the object.
