Adverbs are words which add to the meaning of a verb, an adjective, or another adverb in a sentence. An adverbial phrase is a word or group of related words that have an adverb as its key or main word.
Generally, there are different types of Adverbs:
(a) Adverbs of Manner:
Adverbs of manner describe how. It tells more about manners or how an action is being performed. Adverb of manner ends in ____”ly”.
Examples:
i. He moves proudly.
ii. Tolu played roughly yesterday.
iii. Chika passed the test easily.
