Principle of Operation of Hydraulic Jack:
A hydraulic jack is a handy mechanical device that is employed to lift heavy loads like cars, heavy-duty trucks, etc. The device is light, compact and portable, but is capable of exerting great force.
The jack is operated using a removable handle, which is pumped up and down, raising the jack, which in turn lifts the load.
The primary power source of hydraulic jacks comes from hydraulic fluid, and pressure is created by the movement of this fluid in two cylinders via the handle. A user pumps a hydraulic jack’s handle to move hydraulic fluid from one cylinder to a larger cylinder.
