What is Lubrication?

Lubrication is the process of applying lubricants on sliding surfaces in contact. A good lubricant must possess viscosity. The two main types of lubricants are oils and greases.

Viscosity is the resistance to the flow of a fluid. It shows how thick the lubricant is and its readiness to flow.
