How To Enforce Computer Room Rules And Regulations

Computer laboratory team members are instructed to enforce all rules and regulations, provide assistance and report problems of users whose operations disturb other users or fail to obey these rules and regulations will be asked to leave the computer lab. Refusal to cooperate will pose security challenges to the computer lab.

1. For security purposes, all users must log in to the computer with their assigned usernames and passwords.

2. All users must log off the system after they have finished using the computer

3. Users desiring to listen to music or play videos in the computer room must use headphones

4. Collaborative work and quiet conversations are encouraged but please refrain from loud laughter or music

5. No cell phone calls are allowed in the computer room at any time. You must step outside the computer lab to conduct a phone call.

6. Any equipment malfunction within a computer lab should be reported to a computer lab team member or lab technician on duty.

7. Students are prohibited from installing software on lab computers.

8. Each person may only use one computer at a time.

9. Computers and peripherals are not to be moved or reconfigured without the approval of computer laboratory team members
