To encourage freedom of farming, in a situation where there are regulations, norms or traditional views that militate against such freedom.

To reduce the number of land litigations among the citizens.

7. To Ensure Proper Land Use:

This is to ensure that agricultural land is not diverted to non-agricultural purposes.
