Lumen Christi International High School, Uromi, Edo State has yet another time won the Augustus Bandele Oyediran Award for the school with the best aggregate result in the WASSCE in Nigeria for the year 2021.
The all-male catholic secondary school has won the award in the past, in the years 2007, 2009, 2011, 2014 and 2016. This recent award would make it the sixth time the school would be receiving the award from WAEC.
A press release signed by the Acting Head of Public Affairs, WAEC, Mrs. Moyosola Adeyegbe, on behalf of the Head of the National Office of West Africa Examination Council, Mr. Patrick Areghan, said the award would be presented to the school during the formal opening ceremony of the 70th Annual Council Meeting scheduled to hold on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
