Management is the act of controlling a difficult situation to bring about success. It is a careful way of taking care of or controlling difficult circumstances.

Resolution on the other hand is a way of solving problems, with the use of acceptable opinions of members of a group through voting.

Conflict management and resolution, therefore, is the use of people’s acceptable opinions to prevent and solve conflicts or problems. It is an attempt made to settle long-existing problems.

It is important that conflict is effectively managed in order to bring about peaceful societal existence.
